Abstract
1. Tittle : A plan of managing system on Environmental technology development(Ⅲ) Report on the facility status for environmental technonogy 2. Objectives of the project The pollution prevention facililties for better environmental quality, the basic environmental equipment the status and planning of installation were investigated and the detailed installation planning and the directions were suggested after reviewing and analyzing the structural pronblems on the supply for the environmental facilities. Also, the fundamental information for the planning of the managing system of environmental technology development regarding to the inter-relationship between the industry, academy, and research institute was prepared as a study for the actural condition of the environmental technology supply. 3. Period of the project from June 19, 1993 to December 31, 1993(7months) 4. Contents of the project 1. Investigation of the facility status for environmental industry in domestic - Pollution prevention facilities - Present status and planning for the treatment facilities 2. Problems and analyses on the environmental facility supply - treatment facilities for air pollution - treatment facilities for water pollution - treatment facilities for wastes 3. Future directions of the facilities for a better environmental quality - for a better air quality - for a better water quality - for an improved wastes treatmment 5. Results and Reconmandation The basic environmental facilities in domestic were insufficient after reviewing the overall status of the pollution prevention and treatment facilities for air, water and wastes. Several structural problems on the environmental facility supply were verified. Firstly, most of the companies were petty and their records on the facility installation were minute, which couldn't satisfy the demand in domestic. Secondly, even though the environmental technology is indispensable, the required technologies have not been accumulated because of an insufficient investment on envrionmental technology development and difficulties in specialist security, Finally, industry specification and government supporting mechanism were not sufficent. To solve the above problems, it is neccessary to strengthen the registrative regulaion to prevent from the establishment of unqualified facility manufacturers for supplementation of the bidding system of the installation and to increase the investment on the environmental technology development.
