Abstract
Ⅰ. Background ? Many satellites are orbiting around the earth since EROS(Earth Resources Satellite) was launched in 1972. - KITSAT-1 which is the first scientific research satellite and KITSAT-2 were launched in 1992 and 1993 respectively. On 5th of August in 1995, the first commercial broadcasting and communication satellite, KOREASAT was launched successfully. - Korea became the 23rd satellite holding country, which able to expand our sovereignty to the outer space. ? In case of remote sensing image using optical sensor which is adopted broadly is possible to get the image where researchers can't be. Using the image, they can analyze that area and obtain some useful information. But there are defects that image is hard to get, depending upon atmospheric condition and period of circulation. ? Therefore, it is economical applying ample definition, possibility of multi-spectrum photographing, short period of circulation, small and portable multi-spectrum camera to analyze the rapidly changing condition of surroundings efficiently and monitor periodically. ? Considering the conditions, the study of remote sensing using an aircraft loading sensor in Environment Sector should be achieved. Ⅱ. Objective and Method ? The objectives of this study are to analyze the rapidly changing condition of environment, develope an aircraft loading multi-spectrum camera and suggest an political application plan. Ⅲ. Conclusion ? Using an airship and aircraft as a loading body, the trial photographing was achieved two times. ? After the first test, many of supplements were found. - Producing an image photographing system, electronic devices need to be worked stably through earthquake-proof designation. ?digital camera producer sold earthquake-proof goods, but the contact problem took place between camera and memory card. ?Peripheral device such as control box has to be made a single body, electromagnetic board needs to be settled with epoxy. - After the interpretation of image, the system shows that it can be provide high definition image for remote sensing in environment sector. ?Despite the sunset, the state of image is clear. A spot on the image is up to low intensity of illumination when an electric charge is not regular. - Meteorological observation device and GPS were worked without any problem. ? In the second test, many of significant matters were found. - An automatic aerial survey system was not constructed in this study, each image was revised topographically with meta data. ?To produce an image for environment sector, the system has to provide GeoTiff image containing local information summarily. - An image which is used mainly in environment sector is Landsat, IRS and Komsat. Comparing with the image used in this study, each image has strength and weakness respectively. ?Landsat image used multi-spectrum band is suitable to monitor a broad area, IRS and Komsat are suitable to monitor a drainage area. ?The loading body developed in this study is suitable to monitor and examine a small area, but if an aircraft is considered, a medium area is judged to be monitored. - The results in this study have some strength such as a high definition, multi-spectrum band and moderate photographing expenditure, but there is a weakness that a photographing area is small. Ⅳ. Suggestion and Study direction ? Suggestions - To photograph and classify raw image data for build an Land cover map - To photograph and confirm the boundary of Riverine district - To photograph natural eco-system area and draw a base map for investigation - To photograph and analyze forest sector, draw a map, and monitor the study area - Effective support for the coastal policy through photographing and analysis of the coast - To Establish sustainable conservation policy through photographing and analysis lakes and inland wetlands - To support Environment impact assessment through photographing the project area ? Limitation and Direction of the study - This study for developing the system should be improved in many ways ?To should be done follow-up for verifying the precision of radiation and geographical feature ?To increase the number of scene in one shot ?To increase the width of photographing - The objective of this study is to develop the system, but the results are available in many ways. So the improvement and support should be done institutionally. ?To provide the practical program through investigating the case ?To estimate and exhibit strength and weakness and economical effectiveness of the system through comparing with other images ?The system developed in this study will be studied continuously and should share the information and link with related field.
