dc.description.abstract	통합제품정책(Integrated product policy: 이하 IPP)은 유럽연합 주도로 추진되고 있는 새로운 환경정책으로, 2003년 IPP에 대한 서신(communications)이 발표됨으로써 법적 효력을 가지는 지침서(directive) 제정 전 단계에 있다. IPP는 한마디로 제품의 life cycle 동안의 환경영향을 최소화할 수 있도록 관련정책을 수립하고 이행하는 종합적인 정책이라고 할 수 있다. 여기서는 최근에 발표된 IPP 서신을 중심으로 IPP의 개념과 추진배경, 주요 정책수단을 소개한다. 현재 논의되고 있는 IPP의 주요 정책수단들은 우리나라 산업계에도 많은 영향을 미칠 가능성이 크므로 유럽연합 및 회원국들의 향후 움직임을 추적, 분석하는 연구가 필요할 것이다.	-
