Editor’s note on special edition

Abstract

Professor Klaus Schwab (Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum) who has dubbed this era the fourth industrial revolution is convinced that the period of change we are living through is more significant, and the ramifications of the latest technological revolution more profound than any prior period of human history. The fourth industrial revolution will dramatically change environmental policies and measures all around. Therefore, JEPA (Journal of Environmental Policy and Administration) offers five articles in order to prepare for the future.
